What are the charging methods for electric vehicles?

Mobile charging: namely mobile charging (MAC), which is an extension of wireless charging. Electric vehicle owners do not need to look for a charging station. They spend time to charge it. They can charge it when cruising on the road. The mobile charging system will be buried under a section of road, marking out the charging section, and no additional space is required.

 

Will the battery be lost by using fast charging?

 

To be exact, frequent fast charging will cause some damage to the battery compared with slow charging.

 

Because the fast charging adopts a current several times or even 10 times higher than the standard charging current. In the fast charge mode, when the charge reaches about 80%, the subsequent charge will be filled in the form of slow charge. If fast charging is used frequently, it will accelerate the polarization of the battery cell, resulting in lithium evolution of the cell.

 

In the process of lithium precipitation, lithium ions will decrease, which will eventually lead to the decline of battery capacity, and then affect the battery life. However, in addition to the lithium iron phosphate battery, the lithium metal will return to lithium ion and the critical temperature will return to normal after a short rest after fast charging. However, frequent fast charging will reduce the reduction capacity of the battery.
